Spot color
Uses solid blocks of color. Ideal for bold graphics and logos.
Halftone
Creates gradients and shading using tiny dots. Great for photographic effects.
Simulated process
Mimics full-color images with multiple layers of spot colors. Works best on dark garments.
CMYK (4-color process)
Uses cyan, magenta, yellow and black to print full-color images. Best on white or light garments.
Split fountain / gradient
Blends two or more inks on the same screen for a smooth gradient effect. Each print is slightly unique.

Screen Printing
Water-based
Soft feel, eco-friendly, soakes into fabric. Ideal for light garments and fine detail.
Plastisol
Sits on top of the fabric, vibrant and opaque. Great for dark garments and sharp prints. Not eco-friendly unless specially treated.
Discharge
Removes dye from the fabric and replaces it with pigment. Soft to the touch, best on 100% cotton and dark garments.
Puff
Expands when cured, creating a raised 3D effect. Adds texture and depth to designs.
Metallic
Contains reflective particles for a shiny, metallic look. Available in gold, silver, copper, etc.
